I never dreamed that inviting my friends and family over to my house to grant them access to my crafting tools would mean so much to everyone that comes. It has created a community that loves, inspires, and welcomes others to join in. This is a beautiful thing. One of my favorite things in life are my friends that become part of our family. They are invited to all of our family events and we wouldn’t want it any other way. 

I needed this very much when my identity as a Cast Member ended last month. I went through a process of grieving the loss of my dreams, at least for a period of time. My friends and family were there to give me the strength I needed to keep on pursuing my other dreams. My dream role as a Cast Member is a Resort Recreation Team Member. They basically do what we do in the art party but at a Disney resort. This was my way to practice my dream role but from my home. 

The community aspect of these parties has evolved even more during this past week. Through a friend that came to an art party, I learned about how I could design my own website. It has been a long process but it is finally live.
